1. Man up

In 1 Corinthians 11:7, it says that Man is the image and glory of God.
“You men are the Glory of God, and God wants His Glory to shine through you.”

So what does it mean to man up?
John is a great example. John shows us what a real man is; He is filled with the spirit. He humbly prepares the way for Jesus. He is an evangelist who makes it his life work to introduce others to Jesus. He’s a man who ultimately is a give and not a taker. He is a producer and not a consumer.

So this coming year, Imma man up.

2. Spend more time with the guitar

I haven’t been spending a lot of time with the guitar lately, and I’m starting to feel bad for my buddy who sat there for months waiting for me to strum him.

I am going to make it a routine to spend time with my guitar at least 3 times a week. I will get better and serve in the Worship team, worshiping God with these skills granted to me. So if you’re reading this, do remind me or ask me if I’ve been spending time with my guitar (:

“Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers! I will sing to the LORD, I will sing; I will make music to the LORD, the God of Israel.” - Judges 5:3

3. Trust and serve Him faithfully

I need to learn to trust God, need to learn to be faithful to Him and I need to learn to leave everything to Him and Serve Him Faithfully with all my heart.

I think many a times we question the ways of our great God,we often ask God why did He do that? But little did you realize that you only question God when something bad happens. You rarely question God when a miracle happens.

We need to learn to accept whatever God gives us; the miracles in life AND the trials in life and obey whatever God tells us. We need to be reminded that God has plans for us and He is in control of our lives. This life belongs to Him and He knows what’s best for us and we shouldn’t be questioning His ways and methods.

Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops?

What if Your healings comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You’re near?
And what if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise?
